Readers & Writers Festival

Readers & Writers Festival

Hey folks. How are we all? Having a good week? I certainly hope so. What are you all making of the US Election? It looks like Trump is going pip Hilary to the post! Does anybody have nuclear fallout shelter going spare? Sorry, I really shouldn’t. So anyway, welcome back once again to my arts and entertainment blog. It certainly seems like you guys are enjoying all my posts because the thank you emails just keep flooding in! I am totally overwhelmed. Thank you so much for all your kind words of support and encouragement. It really helps me to muster the enthusiasm and inspiration to push ahead with this online adventure. Thanks for being part of it with me! So anyway, a friend of mine recently got back from Cambodia (of all places) having attended the Kampot Reader’s & Writer’s Festival. Kampot is a small and tranquil town in the east of Cambodia settled on the Tek Chou River. It is world famous for its green pepper that is in massive demand in Western restaurants. Nice place by all accounts, although I have never been myself. So anyway, this was the second year of the festival which showcases the leading talents living and plying their trade in Cambodia; musicians, writers, poets and more. By all accounts it was a great success and fun was had by all. It is a bit of a way to go but I think I will try and get along myself next year. Maybe.

Been to many festivals lately yourselves? Anything worth a mention? Any photos you could share? Be sure to drop me a line. So that’s that. Not much else to say really. Speak soon.
